"Four voices", an all-Italian quartet of excellence, brought together by Sergio Di Gennaro with an intense and well-established rhythm composed by Di Gennaro on piano, Ares Tavolazzi on double bass and Enzo Zirilli on drums, together with Flavio Boltro trumpet, one of the greatest European soloists, for a repertoire of original songs written especially for this All Stars formation. The new quartet, undoubted excellence of Italian jazz, will perform a repertoire of original pieces and some homage to the American tradition. The remarkable caliber of the combo ensures a completely original interpretation thanks to the voice of Flavio, one of the most appreciated trumpets on the European scene, grown thanks to the beginnings with Petrucciani to consecrate himself with an excellent solo career, combining, in a not obvious way, technique and lyricism; to the double bass of Ares, an exceptional soloist who has gone through the history of Italian music, from the progressive Rock of the 70s to the Jazz of yesterday and today; the drumming of Enzo Zirilli, one of the most sensitive drummers of Italian jazz with a unique charisma and interplay, for years resident in London and who boasts collaborations from the North to the South of Europe; Sergio Di Gennaro, refined and eclectic pianist, with one hand in tradition and the other in modernity, boasts collaborations alongside excellent American soloists such as Scott Hamilton, Jim Rotondi, Wayne Escoffery, Denise King and Barry Finnerty.
