Award-winning Italian artist with a sharp sense of irony, through which he explores everyday life, Stefano is fully part of the noble tradition of Italian singer-songwriters. He was born in Mareno di Piave (TV) in 1971. In 1989, he began his artistic journey almost as a game. He was noticed for his simplicity and artistic consistency, and he successfully participated in various important events such as Castrocaro (national selections), Chianciano Terme (final rounds), and Sanremo Famosi (3rd place in the national pre-finals). These and other experiences led to the release of his first self-produced album, "Impronte," and an intense concert activity with important collaborations. In the spring of 1999, he won the 10th edition of the Città di Recanati Award, and with the song "Fiato corto," he won First Prize at Musicultura, repeating the success the following year with the Audience Award. "Fiato corto" became the title of the Venetian singer-songwriter's debut album, released by EMI in 2001. He took his first steps in the world of Italian pop music by working alongside Roberto Vecchioni, Fabrizio De André, Pierangelo Bertoli, Lucio Dalla, Eugenio Finardi, and other prominent musicians and collaborators of Italian music at the turn of the millennium. In the following years, he performed numerous concerts across Italy. In 2004, he released his second album, "Giorni Buoni." He toured Italy with the "RadioItalia solo musica Italiana" tour, and thanks to his involvement with the Italian National Singers' Team [football / soccer], he participated in numerous charity events supporting associations that help the less fortunate. This experience deeply influenced his development and provided new inspiration for his writing. In the following years, he began producing his third original album, "...e i pesci vengono a galla," perhaps his most complete work, featuring significant collaborations (including Neri Marcorè, Marco Morandi, Stefano Melone, Cristiano Micalizzi, Marco Siniscalco) and produced by Simone Chivilò (who previously worked with Massimo Bubola). He participated in Gianni Morandi's "Grazie a tutti" tour as a guest, performing his song "E scende la pioggia" on guitar alongside the legendary Gianni. His name is listed among the greats of Italian song in the "Dictionary of Italian Singer-Songwriters" published by Garzanti. In autumn 2024, he will embark on an intense national tour to promote his fourth album of original songs, "La Magnolia Stellata," accompanied by an exceptional band featuring Simone Chivilò on guitars, Assuera De Vido on violin and backing vocals, and Gianni Fantuz (who is also the album's producer) on drums. During the show there will be literary forays by the Turin writer Enrica Tesio, who collaborated with Stefano on the creation of the album.
